The world of work is undergoing fundamental changes in the face of globalization and digitalization.
This change more and more leads to the dissolution of stable employment relations and more intense competitive pressure: wage dumping, deregulation of working hours and social cuts are commonplace and are practiced throughout Europe. This massive economic upheaval has significant consequences for society.
A place where these consequences can be exemplarily shown is the Chamber of Labor in Vienna. Like a seismograph, the events in the Chamber of Labor show the current social changes and make it clear how much the value of work is in the process of becoming fundamental to both individuals and society alike to change.
